Seven Blessings for a Wedding
May you be generous and giving with each other.
May your sense of humor and playful spirit always continue to enliven your relationship.
May you always respect the diversity of humankind.
May you act with compassion to those less fortunate and with responsibility to the communities of which you are a part.
May you appreciate and complement each other's differences.
May you always share yourselves openly with your friends and family.
May your home be a haven of blessing and peace.

pellon and tulle...Pascale has passed along the Kreativ Blogger Award to me, and asked me to list seven things you may not know about me.
My youngest sibling was born when I was seventeen.
My perfume is Magie Noire.
I have extreme myopia.
I've lived in my home for 33 years.
I've had 10 cars in the 40 years I've been driving: 4 used, and six new.
I don't cry at weddings, too exhausted.
My camera helps with my shyness.

In my lifetime:
"Fifty years ago, on Feb. 1, four black college students sat down at a whites-only Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, NC. The "Greensboro Four", along with friends and supporters, returned to the counter every day for six months until the lunch counter was desegregated.
Their determination to resist Jim Crow laws inspired thousands of peaceful sit-ins and helped to end official segregation in the South. On Monday, in the same building that once housed the Woolworth's store, the International Civil Rights Center & Museum opens."
The complete story here: The Greensboro Four.
