"Undercover Black Man" died today, of a cerebral aneurysm. He was only 48. A provocative writer, and former journalist, he was working on the new HBO series, Treme, when he died.

A frank interview, about the birth of his blog, and the origin of the title - frank - I don't think he was capable of anything but...

Hadn't been to his blog in a while, but he had a Vox page, where he made his eclectic music library available to his readers.

One of his G rated choices, To Sir with Love, with Chaka Khan and the London Symphony Orchestra, seems appropriate.
