This is great! Where is Deland?

deland is in central florida, home of stetson university.

march brings bike week to daytona beach, and towns within riding distance join the celebration with coleslaw wrestling competitions (really), and bike shows. the staid museum cashed in on the notoriety, and their chrome and leather event has become one of their most successful fund-raisers. quite amusing to see playboy centerfolds mingle with stetson professors. this year's event was especially thrilling, given the state of the economy.

all the pictures on my family intro page are goblin valley. We had a great vacation there last summer. They were actually filming a movie there that starred Brad Pitt, but he wasn't on location. My kids were sad. It was great fun. Maybe next Friday I'll post some pictures of the scenery on my public page
