this piece, and the colored circles posted in late january, were created with prismacolor markers. i discovered that they bleed in a slightly unpredictable way, on silk taffeta.
my son dragged me into the computer age, where i discovered that i could scan an original (such as this), import into photoshop, and play with hue and saturation. often, i leave as is, and the scanner is simply used as a means to document the original.
the background of this piece was too dark, so i "flooded" it with a brighter hue.
